From the back page of Manchester MULE Issue 8 (Winter 2010).
This subvert tied into the main news feature of the issue, which looked at Labour’s attempts to reform the welfare system for jobseekers – ultimately supplying low-waged labour to big companies in “work for your benefits” schemes. The government have been pushing the line that benefit “thieves” are responsible for the deep laying inadequacies of the system, all the while being exposed for obscene expenses claims. The poster campaign this is based on can be seen all over the UK (like this one here).
See here and here for the related coverage in MULE.
